为了解辅助沟通系统(augmentative and alternative communication,AAC)介入三部曲模式教学对提升少口语重度孤独症谱系障碍(autism spectrum disorder,ASD)成人简单社交沟通的效果,选取一名少口语重度ASD成人为个案,依其学习特质采用行动研究法,通过搜集教学评量结果的量化资料,以及研究者、个案的同学和朋友、个案母亲及沟通伙伴的质性观察资料,研究旨在通过教学提升个案在搭乘出租车活动时的功能性词汇、句构能力及类化至自然情境的能力.研究结果显示,AAC介入三部曲模式可增进少口语重度ASD成人的简单社交沟通表现.长期使用AAC的经验让个案对于新主题有自主性,在功能性词汇及句构学习方面能够参与教学规划.AAC介入三部曲模式对个案应有持续且长期的介入,除沟通成效外,亦对提升自主性及活动参与独立程度有所助益.
The Study of Using AAC-PVSM Model to Improve Simple Social Communication Ability for a Low-verbal Adult with Severe ASD:Changes after Accumulating Experience with AAC Intervention
This study used AAC preparation,functional vocabulary,sentence structure,and using in milieu model(AAC-PVSM)to improve the social communication ability for a low-verbal adult with severe autism spectrum disorder(ASD).The participant involves a low-verbal adult with severe ASD,with an action research approach tailored to the individual's learning characteristics.Quantitative data were collected through teaching assessment results,and qualitative observation data were gathered from the researcher,peers of the participant,the participant's mother,and communication partners in different contexts.The teaching intervention aimed to improve the participant's functional vocabulary,sentence construction skills,and ability to generalize these skills to natural settings during taxi period.The results of this study show that AAC-PVSM model was effective in improving simple social communication performance of low-verbal adults with severe ASD.Long-term AAC experience enables the participant to demonstrate autonomy in new communication activities and participate in instructional planning for functional vocabulary and sentence structure learning.The AAC-PVSM should have continuous and long-term intervention for the participant.In addition to the effectiveness of communication,it also improved the degree of autonomy and independence of participation in activities.
