The Functional Characteristics and Formation of the Response Discourse Marker'Kebu'
'Kebu'is frequently used in modern Chinese, which has typical characteristics of discourse markers and belongs to response discourse markers.By investigating and analyzing the formation, distribution and function of'kebu'from the synchronic and diachronic levels,it can be found that'kebu'is gradually lexicalized and marked by the internal mechanism of cross-layer structure based on context immersion and reanalysis and the external motivation of subjectification and politeness principles, and finally forms the response discourse marker'kebu'.As a discourse marker,'Kebu'is usually in the response sequence, which can not only co-construct the turn with other language units, but also monopolize the turn. There are three functional characteristics:domain emphasis, domain affirmation, and domain echo.
