A Study on the Semantic Orientation of Verbs in Nanhua Yi Lu-Lu Dialect in Central Yunnan
Existence is the mode of movement and expression of all things,and everything exists in a certain space and time.As a linguistic form to express the existence of things,existence sentences have different usages in different national languages.This paper takes the existence verbs of Yi Lulu dialect in Huashuang village,Nanhua Wujie Town,central Yunnan as the research object.Through investigation,it is found that the existence verbs can be divided into two types:positive existence verbs and negative existence verbs.which can be divided into typical existing verbs"have"(dʐa33)and"in"(dʐa33 la55),there are definitely six types of atypical existing verbs,such as"processing class","movement class"and"production class".Any negating presence verb is formed in the form of"ŋ̩̩ıı21".Based on the classification of existential verbs,this paper further analyzes the usage of existential verbs and the existential sentences they constitute.
