A Study on the Empathy Characteristics of Hearing Impaired Secondary School Students
Empathy is closely related to the psychological and behavioral characteristics of individuals.This study compiled"basic empathy scale"to explore empathy characteristics of hearing impaired secondary school students.In order to provide reference for related research and educational intervention.The results showed that:The empathy score of middle school students with hearing impairment was at a moderate level;Total empathy level of hearing impaired secondary school students was lower than that of regular secondary school students;Gender difference was not significant,but grade difference was significant;The differences in hearing loss and communication methods were not significant;There was a significant positive correlation between the age of hearing impaired secondary school students and their empathy;Difference of using different aids was significant;There existed significant difference whether they were only child in the family or not;Area difference was significant.It is necessary for school teachers to carry out relevant education according to the empathetic characteristics of students.
