Based on the industry data of 13 cities in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region from 2013 to 2022,using the primacy index,Zipf rank-size rule and standard deviation ellipse method,this paper analyzes the spatio-temporal characteristics and dynamic evolution trend of the development of the digital economy in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region from three aspects:industry scale,innovation ability and investment attracting ability.The findings are as follows:the scale difference of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei digital industry is still large,but the scale distribution is increasingly reasonable;the spatial distribution of industrial scale shows a significant expansion trend,but the radial imbalance is more prominent.The innovation capability of the digital industry in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region has been continuously improved,and the gap between the regions has been continuously narrowed;innovation capacity shows the spatial distribution characteristics of"first expanding,then concentrating,and then expanding",but innovation activities are mainly concentrated in Beijing.The investment attracting capacity of the digital industry in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region has increased year by year,but the characteristics of decentralized regional agglomeration have gradually emerged;the investment attracting capacity of the digital economy service industry is mainly gathered in Beijing,while the investment attracting capacity of the digital product manufacturing industry is gradually gathered in Tianjin.In the future,we should promote the development of digital industry in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region,such as building and sharing a digital industry innovation resource platform and cultivating and strengthening the digital industry.
