Comparative Study on the Impact of Innovation and Foreign Investment on RCEP Members'Foreign Trade Exports
The article conducted an empirical study on panel data from 15 RCEP member countries from 1995 to 2020,and found that the impact of innovation investment on high-income countries is significantly higher than that on middle-income countries;The impact of foreign investment on middle-income countries is significantly higher than that on high-income countries,and RCEP is conducive to promoting the development of foreign trade in ASEAN countries;Countries with strong innovation investment are also countries with high outward investment;Innovation investment shows a stronger endogenous driving force compared to other factors such as foreign investment;Economic growth,industrial structure,and other factors have an impact on exports.The article proposed strategies to accelerate the transformation of foreign trade development mode,enhance the level of foreign investment cooperation,improve the business environment,enhance market efficiency,and promote the deep integration of information technology and trade development.
