Development of multiparameter measurement device for oxygen concentrators
Objective We develop a multiparameter measurement device for gas temperature,pressure, flow,and oxygen concentration of an oxygen concentrator, used to monitor the essential performance of the oxygen concentrator in electromagnetic compatibility immunity testing in standard YY 9706. 269—2021. Methods By analyzing the electromagnetic compatibility immunity testing characteristics of oxygen concentrators,the development device structure is designed as a loop type, consisting of temperature sensors, pressure sensors, adjustable flow valves, mass flow meters, paramagnetic oxygen sensors, power modules, data collectors,and data recording software. The measurement modules require high accuracy,fast response,and good stability. The data collector requires high resolution and sampling rate. The data recording software is based on a detection application developed in LabVIEW. Then we use measurement instruments such as standard gas, digital multimeter,and mass flow meter to perform oxygen calibration and accuracy verification on the development device. At the same time, according to the requirements of YY 9706. 269—2021 clause 202. 6. 2. 1. 10, a medical molecular sieve oxygen generator is selected as a sample for electromagnetic compatibility immunity testing,and the essential performance of the sample is monitored by using the development device. Results The parameter measurement of the device meets the following indicators,the temperature range is 0° to 100℃,the pressure range is 0 kPa to 200 kPa,the flow rate range is 0 to 15 L/min,and the oxygen concentration range is 0 to 100%. The measurement accuracy is that the temperature is ±0. 5℃,the pressure is accurate to within ±2%of the measured value,the flow is accurate to within ±2% of the measured value,and the oxygen concentration is accurate to within ±1% of the measured value. Conclusions The development device can accurately measure the gas temperature, pressure, flow rate, and oxygen concentration of the oxygen concentrator, and the measurement results of each parameter are saved in Excel file format. The development device meets the relevant requirements of YY 9706. 269—2021 for electromagnetic compatibility immunity testing of oxygen concentrators.
