The informatization of medical equipment acceptance based on material management system
Objective As an important part of the whole life cycle management of medical equipment, the informatization level of acceptance work lags behind other links. The traditional acceptance work is completed offline,while the earlier stage of procurement and later stage of equipment management have been implemented online. The traditional acceptance work is completed offline,while the early procurement and later equipment management have been realized online management. This leads to the separation of different work links,so that there are loopholes in the whole life cycle management process of medical equipment,and there are great hidden dangers. In this paper,the material management system is used to add the online acceptance step into the system flow,in order to realize the information of medical equipment acceptance work. Methods Firstly, the traditional off-line acceptance process of medical equipment was sorted out and the existing problems were analyzed. Then with the help of material management system to achieve medical equipment online acceptance work;Finally,the problems of medical equipment receipt in the first and second quarters and the third and fourth quarters of 2021 at Medical Equipment Division,Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University were statistically compared. Results The traditional offline acceptance work of medical equipment had some problems,such as equipment information inconsistency, repetitive work, process loopholes, no electronic acceptance files, low efficiency and security, and chaotic asset management. Online acceptance can solve the problems existing in traditional offline acceptance work,ensure the consistency of equipment information,avoid repeated operations, improve work efficiency and standardization,and establish electronic acceptance files to ensure complete asset labels. Compared with the acceptance data of medical equipment in the first and second quarters of 2021 and the third and fourth quarters of 2021,the equipment information error rate decreased by 90. 09％. Conclusions The information of medical equipment acceptance can be realized by adding the online acceptance step into the material management system.
