Evaluation and analysis on quality control of multi-slice CT in three hospitals of Nantong City in 2022
Objective To understand the status quo of multi-slice CT (MSCT) quality control testing in three hospitals of Nantong City in 2022,analyze existing problems and propose solutions.Methods A total of 78 medical MSCT devices were tested and evaluated in 2022 in three hospitals in Nantong City according to relevant standards.The detection conditions included a tube voltage of 120 kV,a tube current of 140 mA,a scanning time of 1 s,a layer thickness of 10 mm or 8 mm,and a dose value of<50 mGy.The detection items included appearance inspection,functional inspection,and image quality inspection.The MSCT distribution was analyzed statistically,and the qualified rate of positioning accuracy,thickness deviation,uniformity,noise,spatial resolution,low contrast resolution,high contrast resolution,CT dose index and water CT value of the diagnostic bed were compared.Results Of the 78 MSCTs included in this study,60 MSCTs (76.92%) were qualified in all the test indicators,and the other MSCTs were unqualified in one or several indicators.There was no significant difference in the qualified rate among different manufacturers (P>0.05),while the delivery time,hospital level and second-hand MSCTs were correlated with the qualified rate,among which the qualified rate of ≥10 years,secondary hospitals and second-hand MSCTs were lower (P<0.05).MSCT appearance test (cable,power interface,structure of each component,etc.),function test (wall emergency shutdown button,compartment dialogue device,movement function of diagnostic bed,etc.) results showed that the qualified rate of each index was higher than 85%.The results of MSCT quality control test showed that the qualified rates of uniformity,noise and CT dose index were 79.49%,78.21% and 78.21%,respectively,and the qualified rates of diagnostic bed positioning accuracy and layer thickness deviation were all higher than 85%.Conclusions Medical institutions need to conduct quality control testing on medical MSCTs,and do a good job in maintenance and quality supervision,which is conducive to the stable operation of the equipment.
