Abstract
The experiences of Medical Journal of the Chinese People's Armed Police Forces in the past 20 years since its starting have been summarized. The experiences show that the journal has always been upholding its mission of " catering to the needs of the armed police forces and serving the grassroots companies". Along with its special columns, the journal has not only promoted the academic medical exchanges among the armed police force units, but also enhanced its core competitiveness, thus ensuring its own sound and sustainable development.
