Sci-tech journals shoulder the mission of recording scientific research achievements and assisting scientific and technological development.Taking Matter and Radiation at Extremes(MRE)as an example,this paper introduced the practice and experience of the journal in establishing a diversified academic communication platform to serve related academic communities since it was founded.Through the construction of quality-centered journal platform and the development of demand-oriented communication platform,we actively expanded the journal brand by launching MRE international conference,MRE Young Scientist Award,MRE Webinars,MRE Frontier Forum,which have gradually formed a diversified and three-dimensional academic communication platform,and made MRE journal be recognized and acknowledged by more and more experts and scholars in the field.This paper further summarized some reflections from our own practice,in order to provide reference for peer journals in our country.
