Taking China Oil & Gas(in English)as an example,this paper explained the key to the high-quality development of domestic English scientific and technological journals from the following three aspects,the high-quality development of the contents,the digital development,and the editing talents training.The high-quality development of the contents should start from topic selection planning focusing on the characteristics of the journal,then improve the academic level by attracting high-quality manuscripts,together with strengthening on innovation and dissemination capacity and brand building through communication to overseas professionals and counterparts.The digital development of journals included improving the construction of journal websites,strengthening cooperation with digital publishing platforms,making effective use of new media platforms,and making full use of the advantages of the sponsors regarding resources and platforms.The cultivation of editorial talents should focus on cultivating and improving their political quality,editing skills,English level,and mastering new media tools.
