Sci-tech journals are an important carrier for disseminating scientific knowledge,and their academic value is reflected by the content they publish.Value added publishing,integrated publishing,or media-richedpublishing,will be the trend of integrated publishing of scientific and technological papers.In recent years,the editorial department of the Journal of Mechanical Engineering has explored the value-added publishing model of sci-tech journals under the background of media integration,in which it had accumulated certain resources,and elaborated in details on the achievements of the integrated publishing platform construction.We should make good use of the advantages of the times,optimize brand operation strategies,effectively enhance the value of journals,build sustainable development of journals,and promote the prosperity and development of scientific and technological journals.
