The Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China(CPC)has adopted the Resolution on Further Deepening Reform Comprehensively to Advance Chinese Modernization,outlining a strategic measure designed to advance the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation on all fronts through the Chinese path to modernization.This resolution holds profound significance across political,strategic,theoretical,and practical dimensions.Sci-tech journals must adhere to the guiding principles set forth at the meeting,focus on development and reform,and strive to become first-class publications grounded in the unique context of China.It is essential to align our efforts with national strategic priorities,meticulously curate our selection of topics,and integrate the innovation of journal content with the enhancement of independent and self-sufficient technological capabilities.Our ultimate goal is to overcome critical technological bottlenecks and make a contribution to Chinese modernization.Furthermore,constructing arge-scale digital publishing platforms for sci-tech journals is paramount.We must shift from the mindset of"borrowing a boat to sail"to"building a boat to sail"thereby establishing independent and controllable databases and management systems that can support our publishing endeavors effectively.
