Journals play a crucial role in the scientific community.By analyzing the current state of collaborative development between English scientific and technical journals and academic disciplines in colleges and universities,it is pointed out that it is of great significance to promote the synergistic development of English scientific and technical journals of all levels and disciplines in the long term to realize the high-level self-reliance and self-improvement in science and technology.Four strategies of synergistic development in the areas of"setting guidelines,branding,gathering talents,and common destiny"are proposed,and specific practical methods and cases are given;it also pointed out that differentiation development and the editors'work mode also have a critical impact on practice.The newly founded English science and technology journals can also refer to these strategies.
