Labor Compensation in the Distribution Pattern of China 's National Income:Dilemmas and Breakthroughs
Labor compensation is the primary source of income for residents in China. According to an analysis of the situation and trend of labor compensation in the primary distribution of China's national income since the reform and opening up, it is found that the dominant position of labors in distribution has not been fully demon-strated. There are dilemmas and risks in the primary distribution, including the imbalance of income distribu-tion structure in the"labor-capital"factor, weak institutional adjustment capacity, unreasonable distribution of factors between urban and rural areas, and mutual reinforcement of income gaps and wealth gaps. Increasing the proportion of labor compensation in the distribution of national income is a systematic project that requires mul-tiple measures and multidimensional linkage. This involves optimizing the proportion of labor-capital division within enterprises through the integration of instrumental rationality and value rationality, implementing differ-ent regional policies to promote the increase in labor compensation for rural residents in a differentiated man-ner, and providing assurance for policy implementation through the improvement of taxation and legislation .
