Main Contradictions and the Docking Mechanism in the Social Transaction Networks of Peasant Households——A Case Study of Small Peasant Households'Docking Target Markets
How to crack the false proposition that"small peasant households dock large markets"and enable small peasant households to directly dock limited markets is still relatively under-researched. Taking small farmers connecting with target markets as an example, this article, based on the nested market theory and em-ploying in-depth interviews and the research method of participatory observation, explores main contradictions and the docking mechanism in the social transaction networks of peasant households, and analyzes the forma-tion process and sustaining conditions of small peasant households'effectively docking target markets through the logical thinking of"why small peasant households dock markets, which markets they dock, how they dock markets, and by what means they dock markets". The study shows that through intermediaries, specific produc-ers indirectly or directly dock specific consumers, and thus point-to-point market transaction relationships are constructed, which allows small peasant households to have a fixed docking of"target markets", forms unique social transaction networks, and thus effectively solves the dilemma that small peasant households are difficult to dock markets. Moreover, under the joint action of the organizational mechanism, the mobilization mechanism and the supervision mechanism, the maintenance of"targeted markets"can be realized, markets docked by small peasant households can be developed sustainably, and the livelihood resources of small peasant house-holds and social capital of small farmers can be successfully transformed into income, so as to achieve stable and sustainable income growth. The research results can provide new ideas for the livelihood development of small peasant households and rural revitalization.
