A Code Shifted Differential Chaos Shift Keying Communication Scheme Based on Reference Modulation
A low-complexity code-shifted differential chaos shift keying communication scheme is proposed, based on reference modulationwhere additional information bits are delivered by reference signals. In this system, the reference and information signals are modulated by independent code index modulations, which helps to greatly improve the bit rate.At the receiver side,a detection method is used to reduce noises in both the reference and information signals,in which received signals are averaged based on segments before correlation.Bit error rate of the proposed system is analyzed theoretically and verified by simulation results in the additive Gaussian white noise and multipath Rayleigh fading channels. Results evidently demonstrate that the proposed scheme can reduce system complexity, obtainhigher bit transmission rate and better bit error rate performance.
