Aiming at the problems of opaque product color matching appearance and market competitiveness, a computer color matching optimization model based on genetic algorithm was proposed to find the best color matching by simulating the genetic evolution process in nature. The model transforms the color matching problem into a genetic search problem, and finds the best color combination through continuous iteration and optimization. According to the K/S value of colorants at different wavelengths and different concentrations, the K-M optical model of computer color matching theory and the CIELAB color difference calculation formula, the computer color matching optimization model based on genetic algorithm is adopted to carry out a detailed analysis of the sample formula, and give full play to the advantages and disadvantages of MATLAB for different data processing. The data processing is completed quickly and accurately, and the idea of loop traversal is used properly when looking for formula, which is easy to operate and easy to popularize.
