From the perspective of industrial economics,this paper analyzes the input-output data of the news and publishing industry and related industries in China's input-output table,calculates the relevant economic indicators of the news and publishing industry,and studies the relationship structure,economic impact,and ripple effects between the news and publishing industry and related industries.Research has found that the economic impact of the news and publishing industry in the national economy is relatively weak,and it is widely related to other industries,with an average proportion of investment in various industrial sectors.Accordingly this paper provides reasonable suggestions for the development of the news and publishing industry.
