In the process of the occurrence and development of public health events,the phenomenon of wanton spread of rumors often occurs,especially in the era of all-media,this situation is more and more serious. Rumors are extremely harmful,and their negative impact on public cognition,behavior and social emotions will bring serious adverse consequences to the handling of public health events and social stability. Therefore,it has become an important task in the field of public management to explore the formation mechanism and transmission characteristics of rumors in public health events and effectively deal with and reduce their harm. This paper first analyzed the formation mechanism of rumors in public health events,established a simulation model based on system dynamics according to the transmission characteristics of rumors,and conducted simulation experiments on the Vensim simulation platform to summarize and propose more scientific and reliable coping strategies for rumors in public health events.
