Digital publishing of ancient books helps to preserve ancient literature and materials,achieving efficient access to resources and global sharing. At present,we are facing many problems and challenges:Dealing with technological limitations and presenting poor results;Slow resource aggregation and low level of development;Poor information sharing and limited knowledge dissemination. Against this background,the digital platform of "Shi-dian Ancient Books" developed by Peking University-ByteDance Open Lab for Digital Humanities. It improves the efficiency of ancient book retrieval through artificial intelligence big model technology,emphasizing technological innovation and application,user experience and interaction,cooperation and win-win development. Given the important steps taken by Shi-dian Ancient Books in revitalizing and giving new life to ancient books,the future development path of digital publishing of ancient books can focus on digital technology innovation,policy funding support,cross platform cooperation,and talent cultivation.
