Visual function training is an effective and safe treatment for comitant esotropia, which can improve the symptoms and strabismus of patients, and enhance the grade 3 visual function. We evaluated the effects of visual function training on strabismus, fusion range, and stereopsis in a patient with comitant esotropia in late pregnancy by treating her with refractive full correction and in-hospital visual function training. After 8 sessions of visual function training, the patient's binocular accommodation, simultaneous perception, fusional realm, and stereoscopic vision were basically normalized in the hospital, and the treatment has achieved good results.Due to the small number of comitant esotropia cases and the short treatment observation time in our hospital, further experience in the treatment of comitant esotropia should be summarized.
