With the popularization of blended teaching mode in higher vocational education, students' autonomous learning ability has attracted much attention. The performance and causes of students' autonomous learning ability lack in higher vocational optometry's blended teaching were analyzed, and corresponding improvement strategies were explored. This study will provide more effective teaching methods and guidelines for higher vocational optometry technology education.
