Ideological and political education is of great significance to the comprehensive development of college students maj oring in ophthalmic optometry technology.This article explored some strategies based on the characteristics of the ophthalmic optometry technology maj or:innovating educational content and forms,strengthening the construction of teaching staff,optimizing the educational environment,and improving evaluation and feedback mechanisms.By implementing these strategies,it was found that the attractiveness and appeal of ideological and political education can be enhanced,students'initiative and enthusiasm can be stimulated,and their comprehensive development can be promoted.These strategies can cultivate high-quality ophthalmic optometry technology professionals for socialist modernization.
