Application of Surge Protector in Power System
The surge problem in power system is caused by the instantaneous fluctuation of voltage and current,which poses a serious threat to electronic equipment.To meet this challenge,surge protectors have emerged as a key device.This paper first introduces the cause of surge and the harm to electronic equipment,and then discusses the type,working principle and application of surge protector in power system.By analyzing the function of surge protector in detail,this paper aims to emphasize its importance in power system.Finally,the development direction of surge protection technology in the future is expected to provide more powerful support for the stable operation of power system and the safe use of electronic equipment.
