The quality control of raw siliceous materials is an important work in float glass production.The grade of raw ore and processing technology determine the processing quality of raw siliceous materials.Satisfactory homogenization and water compensation are the key points in the use of raw siliceous materials.The related factors affecting the appearance,moisture,physicochemical index,particle size and COD value of raw siliceous materials are discussed in detail,and the control requirements for relevant index of siliceous raw materials are put forward.The control requirements of ordinary float glass and ultra-clear float glass were compared,and the raw siliceous materials suitable for float glass production were obtained through comprehensive control and management.
