Study on the Influence of Edge Sealing on Heat Transfer Performance of Vacuum Insulating Glass
The influence of different sealing materials and edge widths on heat transfer performance of vacuum glass edge was studied by theoretical calculation,finite element simulation and experimental verification.The results show that the heat transfer coefficients of low glass powder and metal material are basically the same when the edge width is the same.However,the change of edge width has a great influence on the overall heat transfer performance of vacuum glass.The heat transfer coefficient of vacuum glass 70 series broken bridge aluminum window with edge width of 8 mm and 14 mm was simulated.The heat transfer coefficient of vacuum glass window with edge width of 8 mm was 0.1 W/(m2·K)lower than that of vacuum glass window with edge width of 14 mm,that is,the heat preservation performance of vacuum glass window with narrow edge was better.
