Common types of roughness defects on flat glass surface are systematically discussed.The macro glass thickness difference,the warping of glass plate,the concave inside and convex outside along glass plate edge caused by forming,the transverse microscopic ripple due to transition roller and annealing kiln roller deformation,and the optical distortion of glass plate bottom surface stemmed from transition roller are systematically analyzed.The causes and defects positions as well as the countermeasures are also discussed.
