Development and Application of Polymer Organic Silicone Germicidal Glass
As the environmental pollution,ecological imbalance and greenhouse warming,we are facing the challenges of the accelerating spread of viruses and diseases and the increasing mutation ability of bacteria,which seriously threaten our public health and life safety.Especially in the field of building,the wide application of curtain wall glass,the low cleaning frequency and the organic matter that is easy to attach to the glass surface provide a hotbed for the reproducing of bacteria.In order to meet this challenge,a new material,polymer silicone germicidal glass,was discussed.The action principle and production process of this kind of glass are described in detail.Through experimental comparison,the polymer silicone germicidal glass not only has high transparency,clean and easy to maintain,high mechanical strength,good chemical stability,but also integrates new antibacterial characteristics.It can effectively kill and inhibit the growth of pathogens,and can be used in many fields such as hospital operating rooms,microbiology laboratories,interior building glass,electronic display device screens,home appliances,etc.It can not only improve the self-cleaning ability of glass,but also reduce the health risks caused by bacterial breeding,and create a more hygienic and safe living environment for people.
