Objective:To investigate the status of self-concealment,cognitive emotion regulation and rumination in elderly patients with hypertension in community and analyze their correlation.Meth-ods:A total of 342 elderly hypertensive patients from 4 communities in Chengdu were selected as the research subjects.A questionnaire survey was conducted using the General Information Questionnaire,the Regurgitated Thinking Response Style Scale,the the Self-Concealment Scale,and the Chinese Version of the Cognitive Emotion Regulation Strategy.Results:The score of self-concealment was(22.55±5.52)scores,the score of rumination was(40.06±9.07)scores,the score of positive cog-nitive emotion regulation strategy was(61.57±5.46)scores,and the score of negative cognitive emo-tion regulation strategy was(38.16±6.44)scores.Rumination was positively correlated with self-concealment and negative cognitive emotion regulation.Advanced age,female,widowed,course of disease＞10 years,compl ications,high level of self-concealment,negative cognitive emotion regula-tion were the influencing factors of rumination.Conclusion:The rumination of elderly patients with hy-pertension in the community is more serious.Self-concealment and cognitive emotion regulation are related to rumination.Community medical staff should pay attention to the assessment of rumination and self-concealment of elderly patients with chronic diseases,timely discover and intervene in the negative cognitive emotions of elderly patients,and promote healthy aging.
