Marxist Political Economy is an important part of Marxism. The Communist Party of China has always attached great importance to its study,research and application. Since the reform and opening up,Political Economy has appeared the phenomenon of marginalization, vagueness and labelling with the introduction of western economic theory. It is urgent to strengthen the discipline construction of Political Economy to solve the problems of the reduced courses related to Political Economy,the less class hours and the poor ability of teachers and scientific researchers. To strengthen the basic guiding po-sition of Political Economy in economic theory,it is necessary to combine the top-level macro design and micro operation level to improve the teaching concept and methods,enhance the intensity of discipline construction,cultivate the scientific research talents and give full play to the value of Political Economy.
