It is a strong guarantee for realizing the moral education to integrate the ideological and political education into the accounting teaching contents. Accounting talents play an important role in economic development. Intermediate Financial Accounting is one of the core courses in accounting,and realizing the organic combination of accounting professional knowl-edge and ideological and political contents is an indispensable part of cultivating talents in the new era. This paper analyzes the shortcomings in the current teaching of Intermediate Financial Accounting such as setting the ideological and political goals,integrating the ideological and political contents,and teachers' ideological and political ability,and propose corre-sponding reform countermeasures to cultivate accounting talents in the new era.
