At present,English science and technology journal editors face many challenges such as paying attention to the academic trends,continuously improving the academic influence of journals,and serving the national innovation and develop-ment. Meanwhile,they shouldnot being afraid of competition,learn from excellent international journals,and understand the needs of authors and readers to gain trust to run the journal with the effort of all. The tutorial system adopts experienced edi-tors to help new editors adapting to the environment, understanding corporate culture, attaching importance to compliance awareness,cultivating familiarity with business process and consolidating basic skills,which is very helpful to the growth of new editors and also improves the professional ability of mature editors by teaching each other.
