Textual errors in publications are one of the important factors which affect the quality of publications. From the perspective of visual psychology,the main causes of text errors in publications are visual fatigue,center of gravity shift,visu-al afterimages,and interference from character components with similar shape. Reducing text errors for these reasons can help improve the quality of publications.
