Research on the Implementation Path of Ideological and Political Education in Higher Vocational Public English Based on Subject Core Literacy
In order to solve the problems of public English learning for vocational college students,an analysis is conducted on the implementation of ideological and political education in public English courses in vocational colleges.This article in-troduces the ideological and political education,tells the implementation significance of ideological and political education in public English courses,and affirms the value of ideological and political education in cultivating students'core subject liter-acy.Subsequently,several dimensions of integrating ideological and political elements into the curriculum under the core lit-eracy of the subject were discussed,and three suggestions were put forward:classroom basic teaching,extracurricular expan-sion and extension,and dialectical understanding of the relationship between in class basic teaching and extracurricular ex-pansion and extension.The aim is to provide reference for relevant personnel to carry out reform of public English teaching in vocational colleges and cultivate high-quality public English talents.
