针对连铸生产工艺对保护渣厚度和均匀度测量的需求,文章设计了一种结晶器保护渣形态检测的方案,利用脉冲毫米波信号的测距原理,对保护渣不同点位的上下表面反射的回波进行分析处理,得到保护渣上下表面高度及厚度数据,并合成三维图像,以达到对保护渣形态的精确测量的目的.本方案可以在加渣过程中对保护渣厚度和均匀度的调整提供辅助参考,有助于实现连铸生产中加渣过程的自动化.
Research on Measurement of Casting Powder Shape with Pulse Millimeter-wave Radar
In view of the requirements of thickness and uniformity of casting powder in continuous casting production process,this paper designs a scheme of mold casting powder shape detection.By using the ranging principle of pulse milli-meter-wave signal,the echoes reflected from the upper and lower surfaces of the casting powder at different point positions are analyzed and processed so that its height and thickness data are obtained,and three-dimensional images are synthe-sized to achieve the accurate measurement.The scheme can provide an auxiliary reference for the adjustment of the thick-ness and uniformity of the casting powder in the slagging process,which is helpful to realize the automation of the slagging process in continuous casting production.
