The Background,Plights, and Strategies for the Sustained Development of Ice and Snow Sports in Northern Colleges and Universities in the Post-Winter Olympics Era
During the post-Winter Olympics era,the quality of ice and snow sports in colleges and universities can profoundly affect the steady popularization of ice and snow sports in China. With many provinces and a vast territory in the northern region, the natural conditions for the development of ice and snow sports are superior, thus this paper has studied the issues related to the sustained development of ice and snow sports in colleges and universities in the northern colleges and universities in China. In terms of the context of the times,it is found that the deep historical accumulation of ice and snow, the continuous release of ice and snow policies, the abundant resources of the Winter Olympic heritage, and the demand for the transformation of a leading ice and snow sports nation are favorable opportunities for the sustained development of ice and snow sports in northern colleges and universities in China. However,in northern colleges and universities, there are limitations in students'understanding of ice and snow,an imbalance in the supply of ice and snow funds,a shortage of ice and snow teachers, and the need to enrich ice and snow competitions, which are the practical plights in continuing to carry out ice and snow sports.Aiming to these problems, optimization strategies such as carrying out Olympic-themed education to enrich students'cognition of ice and snow;improving the level of ice and snow faculty to optimize the teaching effect of ice and snow courses;and organizing sports events of winter sports to form the atmosphere of ice and snow on campus are proposed, with a view to learn from for the sustainable development of ice and snow sports in northern colleges and universities of China in the post-Winter Olympics era.
