The Value Implications and Renewed Prospects of Empowering Harbin's Urban Construction through the Asian Winter Games
Ice and snow sports events are not just a sports feast,but also an engine and accelerator for driving urban construction.Through a historical review of the 3rd Asian Winter Games in 1996 empowered the construction of Harbin,it is concluded that ice and snow sports events have profound value implications for promoting urban development,highlighting improvements in urban image vitality,driving urban economic regeneration,optimizing infrastructure conditions,promoting the integration of ice and snow tourism,and more.Based on this,the prospects for empowering the renewal of Harbin through the 9th Asian Winter Games in 2025 are discussed,including optimizing urban resource allocation to support high-quality development of the ice and snow industry;continuing traditional ice and snow activities to strengthen international ice and snow sports exchanges;creating a strong ice and snow cultural atmosphere to build a renowned ice and snow culture city;establishing collaborative training platforms to cultivate ice and snow sports talents,and more.By focusing on innovation and comprehensive changes around the 9th Asian Winter Games,Harbin will further become a benchmark city for international ice and snow sports,contributing to the construction of a leading ice and snow sports nation.
