An Exploratory Study on the Relationship between Perceived Stress,Balanced Practical Thinking, and Subjective Well-being among Winter Sports Athletes
Subjective well-being of athletes has a significant impact on their sports performance. This paper has analyzed the evaluation results of 219 winter sports athletes in terms of perceived stress, balanced practical thinking, and subjective well-being using questionnaire surveys and statistical analysis. The results revealed significant negative correlations between perceived stress and balanced practical thinking,as well as between perceived stress and subjective well-being.On the other hand,a significant positive correlation was found between balanced practical thinking and subjective well-being.Differences were observed in perceived stress, balanced practical thinking, and subjective well-being among athletes from different winter sports disciplines.Perceived stress negatively predicted subjective well-being,while balanced practical thinking positively predicted subjective well-being among winter sports athletes.Specifically, perceived stress had a greater impact on the subjective well-being of winter sports athletes. It is recommended to reduce perceived stress and enhance balanced practical thinking to effectively improve the subjective well-being of winter sports athletes.Future research should examine the differences in subjective well-being among different groups of athletes and analyze other variables that influence the subjective well-being of winter sports athletes.
