The Experience and Enlightenment of Japan's Skiing Industry in Rural Revitalization
In recent years,the continuous rise in popularity of winter sports has led to the expansion of the ice and snow industry chain,with the skiing industry playing a significant role in rural revitalization in China.However,China still lacks maturity in terms of rural governance and skiing industry development.To promote high-quality development of the skiing industry and drive rural revitalization,this paper conducts a PEST analysis of the skiing industry in Japan and summarizes the key experiences of Japan in using the skiing industry to promote rural revitalization.These experiences include promoting multi-stakeholder collaboration to drive skiing industry development,regional integration and the"sixth-industry"model,cultivating rural skiing industry operators,and emphasizing infrastructure construction and promotion.Based on these findings,this paper provides insights for China on how the skiing industry can contribute to rural revitalization,including enhancing rural industrial governance capabilities,promoting regional and industrial integration,and improving rural infrastructure construction.It is recommended that rural areas in China with ice and snow resources strategically leverage their regional advantages to promote high-quality development of the skiing industry,and lay a solid foundation for rural revitalization.
