Strategies of Indoor Skiing Resorts in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area
As an important spatial carrier for realizing China's goal of"engaging 300 million people in ice and snow sports",the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area faces the need for further improvement in service quality amid the upgrading of skiing consumption demand and the orientation towards high-quality supply in indoor skiing resorts.By using the methods such as questionnaire surveys, mathematical statistics, and revised Importance-Performance Analysis IPA,this study constructs an evaluation system with 33 indicators across five dimensions:snow facilities, supporting facilities, pricing and fees, reception services, and instructional services.Additionally,a revised IPA matrix is developed to analyze the service quality of indoor skiing resorts in the Greater Bay Area from the perspective of skiing consumers. The study finds that skiing consumers are generally satisfied with the service quality of indoor skiing resorts in the Greater Bay Area.Among the five dimensions, snow facilities and supporting facilities maintain advantages, followed by reception services and instructional services, while satisfaction with pricing and fees is relatively low.Aiming to these problems,it is suggested to continue implementing the concept of tailored construction and people-oriented service purposes, providing skiing tourists with precise information and customized services.Furthermore, efforts should be made to actively undertake ecological and environmental responsibilities to promote the sustainable operation of indoor skiing resorts and to focus on creating a distinctive skiing brand in the Greater Bay Area, enhancing market competitiveness through digital technology and cultural connotations.
