Research on the Development of the Ice and Snow Industry in the Altay Region from the Perspective of the "Two Mountains" Theory
The extension of General Secretary Xi Jinping's "Two Mountains Theory" in icy and snowy environments has provided important guidance for the development of China's ice and snow industry. By analyzing the development of the ice and snow industry in the Altay region,it is concluded that it contains the value connotation of promoting the construction of ecological civilization, cultivating the function of green economy, preserving Chinese ice and snow culture, and supporting the implementation of "Healthy China". However, the region faces key challenges, including rough development of ice and snow resources, lagging ecological protection measures,a weak industrial foundation hindering innovation, delayed adoption of digital technology restricting sustainable transformation, and limited cultural heritage affecting market consumption. The paper proposes optimizing paths such as constructing a modern green ice and snow industry system, deeply integrating the ecological development concepts of the "Two Mountains" theory, enhancing basic service capabilities to promote the intelligent transformation of ice and snow talent services, accelerating the innovative application of green digital technologies to empower new productive forces in the ice and snow industry, and solidifying the foundation of the "Cradle of Human Skiing" to infuse momentum into the industry's intrinsic development. By implementing the "Two Mountains" theory, this research aims to promote the high-quality development of the ice and snow industry in the Altay region in order to make greater contributions to the implementation of the Party's strategy for governing Xinjiang.
