The Practice Status and Tendency Strategies of Youth Ice Hockey Training in China
The successful holding of the Beijing Winter Olympics has significantly increased public attention and youth participation in ice hockey,which is of great importance for the long-term development of the sport in China.By analyzing the current situation of youth ice hockey training practice in China,it is found that there is a positive trend characterized by a growing number of participants,increasingly diverse events,and broad social support.However,there are also problems such as uneven development of youth training,the training concepts and systems need to be improved,and China's position still being in the early stages of development compared to leading ice hockey nations.To address these challenges,the paper proposes several strategic directions:emphasizing project development and strengthening foundational infrastructure;deepening the integration of sports and education and improving the competition system;implementing cross-sport talent selection to promote talent mobility;enriching training methods and expanding international exchanges.By reinforcing the pathways for youth ice hockey training and enhancing the training system,China can solidify its talent reserves,thus contributing to the development of winter sports and the establishment of China as a leading ice and snow sports nation.
