The successful holding of the Beijing Winter Olympics has created a rich legacy of material and cultural resources for China.Effectively utilizing these winter sports venues in the post-Olympic era will promote the construction of the Beijing and Zhangjiakou sports and cultural tourism belt.By analyzing the construction characteristics of the Winter Olympics ice and snow venues,it is concluded that the scientific and reasonable construction layout could effectively promote regional linkage,the construction standard of green science and technology could effectively improve the quality of development,and the construction intention of openness and sharing could effectively guarantee the industrial upgrading,which is an empowering role for the sports,culture and tourism industry of Beijing and Zhangjiakou area.It is proposed to safeguard funds and management,maintain stable operation of the venues;promote nature transformation,develop diversified venue functions;advocate multi-principal sharing and common governance,enhance the serviceability of the people and other strategies.These strategies aim to enhance the effective use of winter sports venues in the post-Olympic period,further leveraging the economic and social value of the Winter Olympics legacy,and advancing the coordinated development of the ice and snow industry with the Beijing and Zhangjiakou sports and tourism corridor.This will support regional high-quality development as well as the national goals of public fitness and becoming a leading ice and snow sports nation.
