Character Building and Educational Strategies of Contemporary College Students in the Perspective of Chinese and Western Ice and Snow Culture Comparison
Currently,there is an increasing demand in China for deepening ice and snow sports education in colleges and universities and cultivating young talents with both academic and moral excellence,while ice and snow culture is quite effective in promoting ice and snow sports in colleges and universities and shaping students'character.Through a comparative analysis of the differences between Chinese and Western ice and snow cultures,it is found that between the two,the differences in the origins and development backgrounds affect the cultural concepts,the differences in the forms of expression and dissemination affect the pursuit of groups,and the differences in the values and concepts of the core affect the spiritual molding,and the two cultures affect the character building of college students in different ways.It is proposed to play the strengths of Chinese ice and snow culture to make up for the shortcomings of students'ice and snow knowledge;to draw on the advantages of western ice and snow culture to enrich the concept of ice and snow education in China;to integrate the essence of Chinese and western ice and snow culture to cultivate students'sound character in a balanced manner,and other strategies to enhance the character education of college students by relying on the western and eastern ice and snow cultures effectively.It is expected that by utilizing the shaping role of ice and snow culture,it could cultivate more patriotic,confident,optimistic and enterprising talents of high quality,so that our country will maintain an open and progressive posture in the future global communication and development.
