With the rapid development of urbanization in China,air pollution seriously affects the health and quality of residents' lives. This paper first introduces three basic stages of the development of automatic monitoring of urban environmental air quality,then discusses the"urban disease" caused by air pollution,then compares specific technologies,and finally explores the development trend and future prospects,aiming to provide reference for relevant application research.
