Analysis on Application and Development of Limestone in Iron and Steel Industry based on CiteSpace
As the essential flux and reducing agent in metallurgical production,limestone plays an important role in improving the qual-ity and yield of iron and steel products. To clarify the application and development of limestone in iron and steel industry,the litera-tures on the application of limestone in iron and steel industry since 2000 were analyzed based on CNKI database and CiteSpace soft-ware. The research contents comprised the analyses of number of literatures,research institutions,authors,research hotspots and de-velopment tendency. The results showed that the institutions engaged in related research are mainly universities and iron and steel en-terprises. The authors basically reached a consensus on limestone-related research and formed some relatively stable cooperative clus-ters. The research mainly focused on the scientific problem of preparation of metallurgical lime or active lime by sintering method using limestone as raw materials,and the direct participation of limestone as slag-making agent in converter steelmaking production will re-main the emphasis of future research in related fields.
