Study on the Treatment of Fluorine-containing Wastewater by Chemical Coagulation Sedimentation Method
Calcium chloride and calcium chloride-polyaluminium chloride (PAC) were used to treat wastewater with fluoride ion con-centration of 95 mg/L.The effects of calcium chloride and PAC amounts on the removal rate of fluoride ion,the change of effluent tur-bidity with sedimentation time, and the effect of influent pH on the removal of fluoride by calcium chloride-PAC were investigated. The experimental results showed that the treatment effect of calcium chloride-PAC is better than that of calcium chloride alone. The optimum pH of the influent is 7,the optimum Ca/F (amount of substance) is 0.9,and the optimum amount of PAC (10%) is 6.0 mL per liter of water sample.Under this condition, the residual fluoride ion concentration in the effluent is 8.6 mg/L,the turbidity of the effluent is 2 NTU,and the reagent cost for treating 1 ton of water is 2.7 RMB.
