Analysis of Typical Case of Diagnosis and Elimination of Multiple Special Grounding Faults in Core of 110kV Main Transformer
During the routine live detection process,it is found that there is a slight ab-normality in the oil chromatography analysis of a certain 110kV main transformer.Through long-term sampling and tracking,it is found that the hydrogen and total hydro-carbon content showed a continuous growth trend. And in recent sampling results, the hydrogen and total hydrocarbon content are far exceeded the specified values. After completing various routine and special test diagnoses,no obvious abnormalities are found. So oil is extracted and inspection is conducted, which found that there is obvious sign of erosion on the internal iron core lead. The sign is caused by a short circuit be-tween the iron core lead and the silicon steel sheet, which resulted in circulating current discharge and abnormal oil chromatogram data. After determining the cause of the mal-function and the location of the defect, the faulty components are replaced to ensure the safety and stability of the operating equipment.
